Confrontation: Centaur

Unlike most of the other miantures I have done, I really wanted to keep this one when finished. My husband and children were lobbying for it to remain at home as well. But I painted this Centaur with the intention of letting him go. I particularly enjoyed painting the grey roan pattern across the horse section of the mini, the leather armor was fun to render wrinkles in. Additionaly the dead leaf litter on the base of this minature was a bit of an experiment. I think it lended a nice "autumn" touch to the piece. Hats off to the sculptors at Rackham for a great job, they have certainly made me look forward to painting more of his brethren.
