French Blue is another one of the 80 unique masks I created for my Maquerade themed wedding. In this piece I wanted to work with an array of blues and silvers. The silver trim and satin ribbons worked well together though the mixture of blues still feels a bit ecclectic to me. I wasn't happy with the pattern woven into the blue tapestry, so I ran over the design with a softer blue tone in acrylic and added the matching blue trim. As with all of the masks I have made, this one is lined with black felt, to protect the face and absorb any sweat.
