For this particular mask, my husband asked me to make something for him out of the fabrics for the groom's attire. We took a look at everything we had and came up with this. The black is a heavy volour that was also used for his coat. The red is crushed velvet, trimmed with silver braids, while the ribbons to tie the mask on with are grosgrain. Like all of the other masks, this one is lined with felt on the inside to absorb sweat from the person wearing it.
