WWII Pilot Portrait

The WWII Pilot Portrait is another in the series of smaller sized illustrations for the 2001 Fall edition of bLink Magazine. The illustration was inspired by my Grandfather and his role in the war, and was utilized to to portray an old photo of a relative from the 1940's war era. Several washes of sepia toned acrylic paint were utilized to emulate aging colors seen old photographs.
