By far the largest miniature I have painted to date. This piece is 2.5 times taller than the Hive Tyrants made by Games Workshop, and difficult to photograph all of the detail painted into the piece due to it's overwhelming size and strange sculpt. A conversion piece, put together by a friend, the Red Terror is the largest commissioned figure in the Tyranid army I have finished. In person the reds almost glow, as if it were on fire. The biggest challenge for me in finishing the Terror was letting the paint cure so that additional layers would not peel off when working on blending colors.
